We are a Montreal-based reuse and recycling organization built around one simple mission: give useful things a second life and keep as much as possible out of landfill. Every day, furniture, appliances, household goods, clothing, décor and countless other items arrive at our facility. Our team sorts, cleans, tests, repairs, processes and redistributes what can be reused, sending quality items back into our Eco Depot stores while recyclable materials are directed toward the appropriate recycling streams. Handy — you enjoy working with tools, figuring out how things work and making minor repairs. Organized and meticulous — a clean, well-organized warehouse is essential to our operation. Dependable — your work directly affects our stores, deliveries and the rest of the team. Practical and resourceful — when something needs to be moved, fixed, cleaned, organized or figured out, you're comfortable finding a solution. A team player — this is a collaborative environment where everyone contributes. A BIG PLUS Experience with any of the following is an advantage: Furniture repair or restoration Appliance testing or basic appliance repair Warehousing or inventory organization Moving or handling furniture Hand and power tools Delivery preparation and truck loading Thrift, recycling, reuse or second-hand merchandise You don't necessarily need to be an expert in all of these areas. Attitude, reliability, organization and being comfortable working with your hands are extremely important to us. You'll be moving, organizing, testing, cleaning, repairing, loading and helping merchandise make its way from our warehouse to our stores. If you enjoy working with your hands, staying active and seeing the results of your work every day, you may be exactly who we're looking for.
