Responsibilities Manage all aspects of customs brokerage activities, including import and export documentation, classification, valuation, and duty calculations to ensure compliance with international trade regulations. Coordinate with freight carriers, customs authorities, and internal teams to facilitate timely customs clearance and transportation management. Monitor regulatory updates related to FDA regulations, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), OSHA standards, and other relevant compliance requirements to maintain adherence across all operations. Utilize global trade management software and Excel data analysis tools to prepare detailed reports on customs activities, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting. Oversee logistics compliance management by ensuring transportation safety regulations are met and that all shipments adhere to export management protocols. Conduct regular audits of customs brokerage processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for regulatory compliance management. Stay informed on international trade regulations, supply chain developments, and import/export procedures to proactively address potential issues before they impact operations. Qualifications Proven experience in customs brokerage management or a related field within logistics or supply chain environments. Strong knowledge of customs regulations compliance, including FDA regulations, export/import controls, and trade compliance standards. Technical proficiency with global trade management software, Excel data analysis, and report writing tools. Familiarity with transportation safety regulations, OSHA standards, OFAC guidelines, and logistics compliance requirements. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex international trade regulations and implement effective compliance strategies.
