Warehouse Picker/Packer

Responsibilities Accurately pick customer orders using barcode scanning technology and RF scanners to ensure correct items are selected. Pack products securely, utilizing proper packaging techniques to prevent damage during transit. Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently. Load and unload shipments, ensuring timely movement of goods within the warehouse. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and updating inventory management systems. Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and manual handling procedures. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying shipment accuracy and documenting movement of goods. Skills Proven experience with warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, and inventory management systems. Skilled in operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics purposes. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling. Excellent attention to detail for quality control, order fulfillment accuracy, and stock replenishment.
