Warehouse Lead – Manufacturing & Distribution

Palco Industrial Marking and Labeling, Inc. , an established and growing label manufacturer, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Lead to join our team. This position oversees and coordinates daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory, material handling, and maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe warehouse environment. The Warehouse Lead position is ideal for a dependable, organized, and motivated individual with shipping and receiving experience who is ready to take on a leadership role in a manufacturing and distribution environment. The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for coordinating daily warehouse activities while working closely with other members of the Palco team. This position provides an opportunity to take ownership of warehouse operations and grow into a long-term career with Palco. Key Responsibilities · Coordinate and organize daily warehouse activities · Accurately and efficiently process outgoing packages according to customer and shipping requirements · Accurately monitor and receive incoming shipments, checking quantities and identifying defective materials or discrepancies · Prepare and schedule pallets for shipment · Perform cycle counts and monthly physical inventory counts · Load and unload trucks using a forklift or pallet jack · Assist with organizing and maintaining warehouse and production paperwork · Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records · Communicate effectively with other departments, carriers, and customers · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment · Follow all established company safety policies and procedures · Assist with other warehouse activities and projects as needed Qualifications & Experience · 1–2 years of shipping and receiving experience required · Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience preferred · Forklift and Hazmat training/certification preferred · Must have good math skills, including the ability to read a ruler · Must be able to successfully complete a basic math aptitude test · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills · Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, carriers, and other departments · Ability to work independently and coordinate daily warehouse activities · Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds · Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical required Benefits · Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance after 30 days · Company-paid Life Insurance after 30 days · Paid Sick Time after 80 hours worked · Paid Time Off after one year of employment · SEP/IRA Retirement Plan after one year Quarterly performance evaluations with potential for pay increase for the first year.
