Cronos Consulting LLCPosition Overview Cronos is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to support our warehouse operations in Evans, Georgia. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, tracking, staging, and moving materials in support of customer requirements. The Warehouse Associate works as part of a small team where accountability, attention to detail, safety, and customer satisfaction are essential. The ideal candidate takes ownership of assigned responsibilities, works effectively with limited supervision, supports the team wherever needed, and maintains a strong commitment to completing work accurately and on time. Responsibilities Receiving & Inspection Receive and unload incoming shipments. Verify received materials against shipping documentation, packing slips, purchase orders, and other applicable records. Inspect incoming materials for visible damage, shortages, overages, or other discrepancies. Document and report receiving discrepancies in accordance with established procedures. Inventory Control Accurately identify, label, tag, and record materials within the warehouse inventory management system. Maintain accurate inventory locations and material records. Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation as required. Help maintain accountability and traceability of customer and company-owned material. Material Handling & Storage Safely operate propane and electric forklifts, electric and manual pallet jacks, and other warehouse material-handling equipment. Move, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations. Stage, consolidate, kit, repackage, and prepare materials for internal use, customer requirements, or outbound shipment. Load and unload trucks and assist with the movement of materials throughout the facility. Equipment & Safety Conduct required inspections of forklifts and other material-handling equipment before use. Immediately report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or other safety concerns. Follow all company safety policies, warehouse procedures, and material-handling requirements. Documentation & Warehouse Support Maintain accurate records of received, stored, moved, staged, and shipped materials. Perform timely and accurate data entry into inventory and warehouse systems. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment. Assist with general warehouse operations and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical warehouse duties for extended periods. Basic computer skills (Microsoft) and ability to learn warehouse inventory systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy. Ability to follow established procedures and safety requirements. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team. Dependable attendance and reliable transportation. Preferred Two or more years of warehouse, logistics, receiving, shipping, inventory, or material-handling experience. Previous experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks. Current forklift certification; candidates without certification must be willing and able to complete company-required training and maintain certification. Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or other electronic inventory systems. Previous experience supporting government, defense, logistics, construction, or project-based warehouse operations.
