Truck Driver / Fleet Maintenance Technician

We’re a growing, family-owned dumpster rental company looking for a dependable driver with strong mechanical skills. This is a hands-on role with variety: you’ll operate hook-lift trucks across Southern Minnesota, help maintain our fleet, and work on new truck builds. If you take pride in clean equipment, safe driving, and a job done right, we’d like to hear from you. What you’ll do Safely deliver and pick up dumpsters using hook-lift trucks. Inspect and maintain trucks, dumpsters, and equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and complete repairs within your experience and skill level. Help build and outfit new trucks, including installing hook-lift and tarp systems. Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment for repairs and light fabrication. Keep accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and vehicle logs. Work with dispatch, teammates, and customers to keep jobs running smoothly. Keep equipment clean, organized, and ready for safe operation. What we’re looking for A clean driving record. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience. Dependability, attention to detail, and good judgment around trucks and equipment. Comfort using tools and reading service manuals, diagrams, or schematics. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work safely. A professional, helpful attitude with customers and teammates. CDL-A or CDL-B preferred. If you don’t have a CDL but are willing to earn one, we’ll help the right candidate. Experience in diesel, automotive, or heavy-equipment maintenance is preferred.
