Truck Driver

Job Summary Leaf Construction is seeking a dependable Truck Driver to transport construction materials, equipment, tools, and debris between jobsites and company locations. This role will support excavation, grading, concrete, demolition, and other construction operations while maintaining safe driving practices and proper vehicle care. Responsibilities Operate company trucks safely to transport materials and equipment. Deliver construction materials to residential and commercial jobsites. Load, secure, transport, and unload materials as required. Assist with hauling dirt, aggregate, concrete debris, and other construction-related materials. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Follow DOT requirements and company safety procedures. Maintain accurate delivery and mileage records. Communicate with supervisors and jobsite crews regarding deliveries and schedules. Keep assigned vehicles clean and report maintenance or mechanical concerns. Assist construction crews with general labor tasks when not driving. Safely maneuver trucks around active construction sites and heavy equipment. Work outdoors in changing weather and jobsite conditions. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred; Class A or B depending on assigned equipment. Previous construction or material-hauling experience preferred. Clean driving record and dependable work history. Familiarity with construction sites, materials, and equipment is a plus. Ability to safely secure and handle construction loads. Strong awareness of vehicle and jobsite safety procedures. Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and perform physical work when assisting crews. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with field supervisors. DOT medical certification and applicable endorsements are a plus.
