The Material Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and tracking the movement of materials in line with production and shipping schedules, collaborating with supervisors to ensure timely availability of required materials. The role also involves monitoring material flow throughout plant processes, calculating material requirements for job orders, and maintaining accurate inventory and reporting. As a Material Coordinator, you create chemistry by... Issuing and compiling monthly, technical, and ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders, business groups, and upper management. Entering and maintaining data in SAP and other systems, serving as a key user and primary point of contact for SAP-related inquiries. Managing daily inventory transactions, including tracking activities and coordinating annual tagged audits. Designing and maintaining inventory systems to enable accurate, real-time product tracking. Performing accounting-related activities such as monthly production counts, month-end closing, and annual BOM reviewsPreparing detailed presentations using various software tools to support business needs. Maintaining month-end and accounting files, including routine and confidential documentation. Overseeing site waste management processes, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to optimize disposal solutions. If you... Possess a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Supply Chain) or 4 years of equivalent relevant professional experience. Reflect experience with SAP modules (Production and QM preferred). Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Carry certifications such as DOT/IATA/IMDG/RCRA/OSHA Hazmat (preferred). Hold APICS certification (preferred). Exhibit strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and process optimization skills.
