Job Title: Trading & Logistics Summer Student Term: May 2027 – August 2027 Location: G3 Head Office (On-Site) The Trading & Logistics Summer Student position provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the grain industry. You will learn the fundamentals of trading, logistics, and execution while supporting the Trading, Logistics and Trade Execution teams in their day-to-day activities. Through this experience, you will develop a broader understanding of the G3 supply chain network and how grain moves from origin to destination. Responsibilities: Gain practical experience by working in the Trading and Logistics department, learning the processes involved Support the Trading and Logistics team in daily operations, including market analysis, contract management, and logistical coordination to ensure efficient movement of grain commodities Communicate shipping instructions to G3 country elevators Provide G3 port terminals with train quality information and timing Track, analyze and report on logistical data - identifying patterns, pinch points, and opportunities Work on seasonal projects to help streamline G3's processes Provide support for team members during their vacation Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Experience: Currently enrolled in an agribusiness, commerce, or related degree program Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as a team Excellent communication and time management skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Willingness to learn and take on new challenges A strong understanding of AI is an asset but not necessarily required Familiarity with the grain industry is an asset but not required If you are looking for an opportunity to grow your career, G3 will give you this opportunity.
