Supply Chain & Operations Specialist

About Aerora Aerora develops smart controllers, cameras, gimbals, and propulsion solutions for robotics, UAVs and other uncrewed systems serving commercial, industrial, and non-military applications. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced hands-on Supply Chain & Operations Specialist to help organize, build and maintain the day-to-day foundation that supports our customers, products, suppliers, and internal teams. Independently to manage day-to-day supply chain and logistics while coordinating priorities and resources with the CFO and other teams in a dynamic tech-startup environment. You'll be part of a small, collaborative team helping shape the future of the drone and robotics industry. Responsibilities Vendor Management : Onboard new suppliers, issue purchase orders, track lead times, and manage order status from invoice through delivery. Invoice & Payment Tracking : Support finance and sales teams by tracking payables and receivables - coordinating communications for both vendors and customers. Customer Order Fulfillment : Coordinate customer orders, delivery schedules, inventory availability, and shipments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment. Sourcing Research : Identify potential suppliers, parts, materials, and services in support of R&D, manufacturing, and business operations. Operations Document Management : Maintain vendor documents including NDAs, quotations, specifications, and related records. Ensure all documentation is properly organized within company cloud systems. Shipping & Receiving : Track incoming and outgoing packages and freight shipments, manage carrier accounts, and coordinate tariff and related payments with finance. Inventory & Property Management : Monitor and replenish sales inventory, repair parts, R&D assets, and company property. Maintain stocking locations and coordinate disposal of excess inventory. RMA & After-Sales Operations : Coordinate product returns, repairs, replacement shipments, and repair parts inventory, working closely with customer support and technical teams. Facilities & Overhead Management : Track lease, insurance, and related operational requirements in coordination with finance. Oversee physical security, safety, compliance, and general facility standards. Process Management : Manage operational activities within cloud-based business systems while documenting processes and driving continuous improvement. Qualifications Experience supporting manufacturing, robotics, aerospace, electronics, drone, or industrial technology companies. Knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, supplier management, and inventory management purchasing and supplier management processes. Familiarity with international shipping, imports, exports, tariffs, and customs processes. Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills. Experience working with international teams, particularly in Asia, including communication across time zones and cultures. Experience establishing and improving operational processes. Ability to effectively use business software and digital tools to manage daily operations. What Success Looks Like In this role, you will run the day-to-day operations of the U.S. Aerora team and help create the systems that enable Aerora to scale efficiently.
