We're hiring a Strategic Account Manager to become the day-to-day owner of our AI data center construction and development transportation, and to build and manage a book of business of your own. You'll own the cadence, the KPIs, the relationships, and the growth — and you'll be paid like the book is your own business, because your comp plan says it is. We're a high-growth, financially stable organization that has never had an unprofitable month, with strong leadership, a proven model, and real room to advance. Why AI data centers AI data center construction is the growth engine for this seat, and you'll be the person who builds it into a core vertical. These projects run on tight build schedules, and a late shipment of critical equipment can hold up an entire site — exactly the kind of freight where KLM Logistics' no-miss reputation wins. What you'll be moving and managing: Power and electrical infrastructure: transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and battery storage, often oversized or heavy-haul. Cooling systems: chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, and liquid-cooling components. IT and rack equipment: high-value server racks and networking gear needing white-glove, secure, and time-definite handling. Construction materials: steel, modular and prefabricated components, cable, and site supplies tied to phased build milestones. Who you'll target and grow: Hyperscale and colocation data center developers and operators. General contractors and EPC firms building data center campuses. Electrical and mechanical subcontractors and equipment OEMs supplying those sites. Distributors and integrators staging equipment for multi-phase projects. Texas is one of the most active data center markets in the country, which puts you close to the projects, the decision-makers, and the freight. Key responsibilitiesBuild the AI data center vertical Prospect, qualify, and win data center developers, contractors, and equipment suppliers through cold calling, outreach, and industry events. Map project timelines and phases so freight plans line up with construction milestones. Coordinate specialized moves — oversized, heavy-haul, expedited, and white-glove — for critical-path equipment. Become the go-to expert on data center logistics internally and with customers. Own account health and execution Oversee daily shipment activity across all accounts; flag high-priority and special-requirement loads and make sure they run clean. Ensure customer-specific SOPs and service expectations are documented and met. When they slip, you own the fix. Cover loads by working with carrier procurement to secure carrier capacity, and negotiate rates with shippers and carriers. Triage escalations: handle first-line issues yourself and bring your direct report in fast when something exceeds your authority, with a summary and a recommended path. Grow the book Build and manage your own book of business through heavy prospecting and pipeline generation. Run a proactive cadence of structured check-ins with every account, surfacing what's coming next before anyone has to ask. Learn the full menu: LTL, FTL, expedited, specialized, and hotshot.
