Store Manager Tillsonburg Reports To: Director of Store Operations Benefits after 90 days Pension after 1 year Salary: 63,000 - 68,000 Position Summary The Store Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, profitability, and daily operations of the store. This role drives sales growth, delivers an exceptional customer experience, develops and leads a high-performing team, and ensures operational excellence. Recruit, interview, and onboard qualified team members. Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and coaching. Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with company values. Ensure all required training and safety certifications are completed. Sales & Customer Experience Build and maintain strong relationships with retail, contractor, and commercial customers. Drive sales growth, margin improvement, and market share. Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service. Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively. Support local business development and community involvement. Operations & Financial Management Oversee daily store operations, inventory management, merchandising, and purchasing. Monitor inventory accuracy, cycle counts, transfers, pricing, and ordering activities. Approve purchase orders and ensure order integrity. Maintain company merchandising, presentation, and housekeeping standards. Ensure payroll, scheduling, and reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time. Review business performance and communicate results to senior leadership. Health & Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Promote a safe work environment and support all health and safety initiatives. Maintain cash control, inventory accuracy, and operational compliance. Qualifications Strong customer service, sales, and merchandising skills. Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail management systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Valid driver's license. Working Conditions Combination of office, sales floor, yard, and customer-facing responsibilities. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and computer use. Occasional travel may be required.
