Location: Valley Center, KS (10 minutes north of Wichita) Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $16.00–$20.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM Job Description MWCustoms is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping, Receiving & Customer Support Specialist . This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that combines shipping, receiving, quality control, and basic customer support responsibilities. We specialize in custom-painted headlights, taillights, tow mirrors, and other premium automotive accessories. Our products are shipped to customers nationwide and require careful handling, detailed inspections, cleaning, and protective packaging. We process a high volume of incoming and outgoing shipments, including large and heavy boxes. We're looking for someone who can keep up with a busy production environment, stay organized, and work efficiently without sacrificing quality. This position also involves answering incoming customer phone calls, collecting information, and creating support tickets for our customer service team. This is NOT a desk job. The majority of the workday involves physically working in our shipping and receiving department. Shipping & Quality Control Responsibilities Perform final quality inspections on completed automotive parts before shipment. Carefully inspect painted surfaces, lenses, and components for scratches, imperfections, damage, or other defects. Thoroughly clean and prepare finished products before packaging. Properly wrap, protect, and package fragile and high-value automotive components. Handle large and bulky boxes while preparing outgoing shipments. Verify that all products, accessories, and components are included in each customer order. Generate shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup. Maintain an organized shipping area while processing a high volume of daily shipments. Identify and report quality concerns before products are shipped. Work efficiently to meet daily shipping goals without sacrificing quality or attention to detail. Receiving & Inventory Responsibilities Receive incoming deliveries and shipments throughout the day. Unload, move, and organize large boxes and automotive components. Open and unpack incoming shipments. Inspect received items for damage, missing components, or incorrect products. Remove products from their original packaging and prepare them for production. Properly identify and label incoming parts with the correct customer order information.
