Shipping/Logistics Clerk

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping/Logistics Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating shipping and receiving operations, managing inventory accuracy, and ensuring smooth warehouse distribution processes. Your energetic approach will help streamline order fulfillment, maintain compliance with trade regulations, and support overall warehouse operations. Duties Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation using inventory management software and ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms. Coordinate the loading and unloading of goods utilizing equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to ensure safe handling of products. Perform inventory management tasks including stock counting, stock replenishment, and updating data entry records accurately within Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Assist with order picking, packing, and order fulfillment activities to meet customer delivery deadlines efficiently. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards during shipment processing. Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory levels while supporting warehouse distribution activities. Provide excellent customer service by addressing shipping inquiries, tracking orders, and resolving logistical issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience working in warehouse operations or logistics environments with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel for data entry and reporting purposes. Knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and international trade regulations is highly desirable. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment documentation. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or order pickers; certification preferred but not required. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and record keeping. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
