Shipping & Fulfillment Supervisor
ADC EnterprisesAbout the role ADC Enterprises Inc. is a growing company looking for an honest, dependable, hands-on Shipping & Fulfillment Supervisor to run daily shipping and lead our small picking and packing team. Approximately 80% of this position is shipping. You will personally process and ship orders, coordinate parcel and pallet shipments, and help pack orders when needed. This is a working supervisor role, not a desk-only management position. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, works hard, follows through, and wants to grow with the company. You do not need a long management background, but you do need to be willing to learn, take responsibility, and help wherever practical work is needed. Shipping and order fulfillment · Run daily shipping for an operation handling 100+ orders per day, including orders from Amazon, company websites, eBay, and distributors. Use ShipStation to process orders and create shipping labels. · Ship distributor orders through UPS and coordinate pallet freight from start to finish, including quotes, carrier selection, pickup bookings, bills of lading, delivery appointments, and tracking. · Prepare both Amazon customer orders and shipments to Amazon fulfillment centers, following the applicable labeling and packing requirements. · Meet shipping deadlines and carrier pickups, adjusting daily priorities when urgent orders, backorders, or other needs arise. · Handle returns, exchanges, missing packages, carrier claims, shipping-related customer messages, and shipment-status updates. · Improve ShipStation setup and workflows, including shipping rules, account connections, batch labels, and saved shipping preferences. Team leadership and hands-on support · Supervise and train the picking and packing team, assign daily work, set priorities, and take responsibility for team performance as the team grows. · Help pack orders and assemble manufactured pouches and bottles into boxes and displays. Pitch in with receiving, loading, keeping the work area organized, and occasional manufacturing support. Packaging, inventory, and manufacturing coordination · Track boxes, displays, and shipping supplies; identify shortages and prepare lists of items that need to be ordered. · Receive deliveries, check quantities and condition, organize storage, and resolve supplier shortages or damage. · Work with the owner to develop practical shipping, packing, and inventory procedures, including recording packaging usage as inventory tools are introduced. · Tell manufacturing which products and quantities are needed and when, using inventory levels and average usage to anticipate demand. Decide which fast-selling boxes and displays should be prepared ahead of time. What we are looking for · Previous shipping, packing, or warehouse experience. ShipStation experience is preferred. · Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. · Honesty, dependable attendance, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized and adjust priorities without constant direction. · High school diploma and ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Previous supervisory, freight-coordination, inventory-purchasing, or production-planning experience is not required. These responsibilities can be learned. You will use equipment such as a pallet jack and label printer. A background check is required and will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.
