Shipping and Receiving Specialist
The Dome CompaniesA Shipper and Receiver handles the shipping and receiving of goods to keep inventory accurate and orders moving on time. Key responsibilities Prepare, pack, label, and ship outgoing orders. Receive deliveries and check items against purchase orders and packing slips. Inspect shipments for damage or shortages and report any discrepancies. Record shipments, and maintain accurate documentation. Organize and store goods safely in designated areas. Operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment, if trained and authorized. Keep the shipping and receiving area clean and follow workplace safety procedures. Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve delivery issues. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is typically preferred. Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory work is an asset. Experience with Starship/Shipstation or other other shipping software required Basic computer and record-keeping skills. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication. Ability to lift and move materials safely; forklift certification may be required. Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
