We are seeking a Senior Buyer/Expeditor with 7–15 years of experience who is eager to contribute to fast-paced project teams, support procurement execution, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services for complex energy projects. This role offers hands-on involvement across the full procurement lifecycle, exposure to diverse projects, and close collaboration with engineering teams, vendors, and clients. Why Join Equinox? Meaningful work on a wide range of energy and processing projects Strong, people-focused culture emphasizing mentorship, collaboration, and technical growth Flexible and supportive work environment with long-term career development opportunities Entrepreneurial culture that fosters creative and commercially minded leaders What You’ll Do Technical Support Execute the full procurement cycle including bid list development, RFQs, bid evaluations, and award of goods and services Prepare and evaluate commercial bid packages and contracts Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and project execution plans Support identification of long-lead and critical materials Collaboration & Project Execution Act as liaison between vendors, engineering, project teams, and client supply chain groups Coordinate and expedite vendor deliverables to meet project schedules Resolve technical and commercial clarifications between stakeholders Contribute to procurement reporting and milestone tracking Participate in project and procurement meetings Safety, Quality & Compliance Maintain a high level of ethical conduct in all supplier interactions Ensure procurement activities align with company standards and client requirements Support quality and documentation requirements for materials and services Technical Exposure Work across oil & gas facility and pipeline projects, including conventional oil, heavy oil, and natural gas developments Gain exposure to specialized projects such as SAGD, CSS, steam systems, and emulsion pipelines Develop expertise in vendor management, expediting, logistics, and material tracking within EPCM environments About You 7–15 years of EPCM experience in procurement, expediting, or supply chain Strong understanding of oil & gas projects, with pipeline and facility experience preferred Demonstrated experience in vendor management and supplier coordination Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Experience with heavy oil projects (SAGD, CSS, pipelines) is considered an asset About Equinox Engineering Ltd.
