Senior Associate, IT Business Systems and Support

Position Summary The Senior Associate, IT Business Systems & Support serves as the primary U.S.-based resource for business systems administration, end-user support, SAP operations, GMP-regulated systems, and technology-related project execution. This is a highly hands-on role responsible for supporting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and continuously improving systems that enable pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality, supply chain, warehouse, and business operations. Working closely with Global IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners, this individual will provide day-to-day support, coordinate system enhancements, assist with integrations and new technology deployments, and drive projects from planning through execution. The ideal candidate combines strong technical aptitude, SAP experience, project coordination skills, and a proactive approach to solving operational and business system challenges in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. Key Responsibilities SAP & Business Systems Serve as a U.S. point of contact for SAP and related business applications. Support SAP system operations, enhancements, integrations, master data governance, and user access management. Partner with business stakeholders to identify system improvements and support business process optimization. Coordinate testing, validation, and deployment activities for system changes and upgrades. Ensure business systems operate in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. GMP Compliance & Computer System Validation Support Support business systems operating within GMP-regulated environments. Assist with Computer System Validation (CSV) activities, including documentation, testing, change control, and periodic review processes. Ensure systems and processes remain compliant with applicable GMP requirements, company procedures, and regulatory expectations. Support audit readiness activities and assist with internal and external inspections. Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready system documentation. Serialization & DSCSA Compliance Support daily operations of serialization and DSCSA compliance systems. Manage and resolve serialization exceptions, data exchange issues, and trading partner connectivity concerns. Monitor EPCIS transactions, reconciliation activities, and compliance reporting. Maintain serialization documentation, SOPs, and audit-ready records. Support onboarding of trading partners and implementation of serialization-related enhancements. Warehouse Systems & Distribution Operations Partner with SAP EWM and warehouse technology providers to support distribution operations. Coordinate issue resolution, system enhancements, and user support activities. Ensure warehouse system processes and training materials remain current and effective. Vendor and Technology Partner · Serve as a liaison between business users, Global IT, vendors, and external support providers. · Escalate and manage technical issues to appropriate support partners. · Monitor vendor performance, resolution timelines, and service delivery. · Assist in coordinating technology-related projects and support activities across multiple stakeholders. Process Improvement & Automation Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and reduce manual processes. Partner with business teams to implement automation and reporting enhancements. Support initiatives that improve data integrity, operational effectiveness, and compliance readiness. Site Technology Support Oversee day-to-day technology support for the U.S. facility through managed service providers. Ensure timely resolution of end-user support requests and operational technology issues. Coordinate local technology needs with Global IT.
