Sales Team Leader

Job description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Team Leader. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in retail sales and team development. As a Sales Team Leader/Manager, you will play a pivotal role in recruiting and hiring ongoing talent, mentoring and developing teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience, driving sales performance, and managing store operations for profitability. This position offers an opportunity to lead a motivated team while contributing to the overall success of our stores. Duties Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and store sales goals through effective coaching and support. Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and stock replenishment. Manage customer relations by providing outstanding service. Conduct employee orientation, training, and development to enhance team skills and product knowledge. Oversee Talent acquisition with recruiting, interviewing candidates, and hiring. Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock audits, and oversee training to support Loss Prevention. Communicate on a consistent, regular basis with the buying team. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures. Support and oversee store coverage by scheduling and overseeing daily tasks Requirements Proven experience in retail sales management or supervisory roles with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Strong knowledge of sales techniques such as upselling and customer service excellence. Excellent communication skills Experience with inventory control systems, POS technology, and merchandising. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively with strong organizational skills. Familiarity with employee orientation, training & development. Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, manage shifts, and lead teams effectively. Previous assistant managerial experience in retail.
