Room Attendant

Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other shared spaces by performing routine janitorial tasks. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly to ensure safety during cleaning tasks and manual handling activities involving heavy lifting or moving furniture. Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to the appropriate department to uphold safety and quality standards. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies. Assist with inventory management by tracking cleaning supplies and requesting replenishments as needed. Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting of furniture or equipment. Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and janitorial equipment is advantageous. Knowledge of proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain safety standards during cleaning activities. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shifts.
