Roll Off / Grapple Truck Driver

Overview As a Roll Off / Grapple Truck Driver, you’ll operate commercial vehicles to collect and transport solid waste safely and reliably. You’ll follow assigned routes, work outdoors in changing conditions, and interact professionally with customers and the public. Your impact: Safe, dependable collections help customers and communities keep waste moving to the right destination. Responsibilities Drive roll-off and grapple trucks, following route plans and applicable traffic laws. Load and unload containers and materials; perform heavy lifting when required by the work. Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, report mechanical concerns, and follow safety protocols. Provide courteous customer service and coordinate collection needs with customers and team members. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, state transportation rules, hazardous materials regulations, and municipal waste management procedures. Experience Required: 2 years Commercial truck driving experience, a minimum Class B valid license and qualifications for the assigned vehicle, air brake knowledge, and the ability to operate a manual transmission where required. Required: Safe driving practices, defensive driving, route driving, and consistent adherence to safety protocols. Preferred: Experience with roll-off trucks, garbage trucks, front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, front-end loaders, or delivery driving. Preferred: Mechanical knowledge, outdoor work experience, and familiarity with solid waste management. Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
