CDL Driver/Equipment Operator

Overview We are a small custom homebuilding company that performs all of our own excavation. We are looking for someone with a Class A CDL driver's license who can drive our company vehicles, including dump trucks, a hook-lift truck, and a truck and trailer combination. The right candidate for this position will also be an experienced equipment operator, specifically with excavators, bulldozers, telehandlers, and skid steer loaders. In addition to operating the equipment, you must be able to safely load, haul, and unload equipment. Experience with layout and grading is a plus. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL Class A) and ability to meet applicable driving and equipment-operation requirements. Commercial truck driving. Knowledge of freight logistics and cargo handling, safe load and unload practices is an asset. Safe driving record, sound judgment, and ability to perform manual handling tasks. Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
