Retail & Operations Lead Nexus Sports | Farmers Branch, TX Pay: $20.00 per hour Schedule: 30–35 hours per week Location: On-site, Farmers Branch, Texas About the Position Nexus Sports is seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Retail & Operations Lead to help coordinate daily activities at our retail location. This is a hands-on position focused on keeping operations running efficiently, supporting employees, and assisting customers. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, works independently, and helps ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities Labeling & Inventory Coordinate daily product labeling and preparation activities. Assign tasks and monitor employee productivity. Ensure labeling batches are completed accurately and on schedule. Assist with labeling, packaging, and inventory preparation when needed. Racquet Stringing Coordination Monitor stringing orders and turnaround times. Coordinate workloads and priorities with stringers. Follow up on pending orders and ensure timely completion. Maintain an organized stringing workflow. Retail & Customer Service Assist customers with purchases, product questions, and general inquiries. Provide additional front desk coverage during busy periods. Assist with order fulfillment, restocking, and inventory organization. Maintain a clean and professional retail environment. Daily Operations Monitor assigned tasks and ensure completion. Help employees stay organized and productive. Identify and resolve routine operational issues. Communicate progress, priorities, and outstanding issues. Qualifications Previous experience in retail, warehouse operations, fulfillment, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent reliability, attention to detail, and work ethic. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable using computers and inventory management systems. Willingness to perform hands-on work alongside other employees. Supervisory experience is a plus but not required. Badminton or tennis knowledge is helpful but not required.
