Retail Manager

We’re looking for a dependable, organized, hands-on Retail Store Manager to oversee daily store operations. The ideal candidate can lead a team, manage inventory, deliver excellent customer service, and keep the store running efficiently. Responsibilities Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures. Supervise staff, assign daily tasks, and ensure responsibilities are completed. Create staff schedules, coordinate coverage, and monitor attendance. Train and coach employees on customer service, products, store policies, and performance expectations. Track inventory, receive and verify deliveries, conduct stock counts, and coordinate replenishment. Monitor damaged, missing, slow-moving, or expired merchandise and address discrepancies. Maintain an organized stockroom and clean, well-stocked sales floor. Support sales goals through product knowledge, merchandising, and team coaching. Resolve customer concerns, returns, and exchanges professionally. Oversee register operations, cash handling, daily reconciliation, and deposits according to company procedures. Follow loss prevention, security, and workplace safety procedures. Communicate sales results, staffing needs, inventory concerns, and operational issues to ownership. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee performance reviews. Coordinate update displays and pricing, and ensure store standards are maintained. Qualifications Previous retail management or supervisory experience. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Experience with inventory management, point-of-sale systems, and cash handling. Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and work effectively in a busy environment.
