Regional Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to operate a 53 ft dry van for regional freight transportation within Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California (optional). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of driving experience and be comfortable handling long-distance routes. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with weekends off, catering to drivers seeking consistent work hours. The primary responsibilities include safely transporting goods across designated routes, maintaining compliance with transportation regulations, and ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities Operate a 53 ft dry van trailer on regional routes primarily between El Paso and Dallas, as well as El Paso and Houston, with the possibility of additional routes within Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California. Ensure the safe and secure transportation of freight while adhering to all federal and state transportation laws and safety regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and cargo documentation in compliance with DOT requirements. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, and any issues encountered during transit. Manage weekly mileage goals, with a minimum of 2,600 miles per week. Follow a consistent schedule Monday through Friday with weekends off if preferred by the driver. Experience Minimum of two years of commercial driving experience with a valid CDL license. Proven track record of safe driving practices on regional routes. Experience operating 53 ft dry van trailers preferred. Ability to navigate regional routes efficiently within Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California. Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards applicable to commercial trucking. Starting Pay .50 cpm up to .55 cpm Route & Schedule Expectations Weekly Requirement: Minimum of two round trips weekly. Primary Lanes: El Paso, TX to Dallas, TX (and Back) El Paso, TX to Houston, TX (and Back) Pay: From $1,400.00 per week Work Location: On the road
