Student Transportation Driver/Dispatcher (Part-Time Afternoon shift ONLY) White Transport – Tucson, Arizona Start Date: ASAP WTS-AZ is seeking a dependable, organized, and quick-thinking Part-Time Afternoon Dispatcher / Rescue Driver to support our afternoon transportation operations. This is a dual-role position . The ideal candidate must be comfortable managing transportation operations from dispatch while also being prepared to get behind the wheel when a route needs immediate coverage. Position Overview Part-Time (Afternoon Shift) Monday–Friday Minimum 20+ hours per week In office Dispatcher/Transporting K-12 students to and from school Company vehicle provided Start Date: ASAP Responsibilities: The Afternoon Dispatcher / Rescue Driver is responsible for helping ensure that all scheduled PM routes are properly staffed, vehicles are moving on time, drivers are communicating with dispatch, and students are picked up and dropped off according to schedule. When an unexpected issue occurs, such as a driver call-off, vehicle problem, delayed route, missed pickup, or other coverage issue, the Dispatcher / Rescue Driver must be prepared to respond quickly and, when necessary, leave dispatch and operate a WTS vehicle to complete or assist with a route.
