Part-Time Retail & Shipping Associate

We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and detail-oriented Part-Time Associate to run our morning retail operations. In this role, you will be the first face our customers see, providing helpful service for shipping, equipment rentals, and identity verification services. This fixed morning schedule is ideal for local college students, parents with kids in school, or anyone looking for consistent, low-stress part-time work without night or weekend retail hours. Key Responsibilities: Store Opening: Arrive promptly to open the store, prepare systems for the day, and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby. Shipping & Package Services: Assist customers with drop-offs, package acceptance, weighing/measuring items, and processing shipments through retail carrier systems. Equipment Rentals: Assist customers with U-Haul reservations, pickups, and return check-ins. Identity & Fingerprinting Services: Process customer fingerprinting appointments and background check services with professionalism and accuracy (training provided). Customer Service & Checkout: Operate the POS register, handle retail sales, answer the phone, and hand off daily updates to the afternoon team member at 1:00 PM. Qualifications: Punctual, reliable, and able to commit consistently to the Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM schedule. Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude with the public. Basic computer literacy and comfort learning web-based booking, shipping, and point-of-sale software. Ability to pass a standard background check (required for fingerprinting service authorization). Must be able to lift up to 40–50 lbs periodically when handling customer packages. Pay: From $12.00 per hour Expected hours: 14.0 – 20.0 per week Work Location: In person
