Part Time FedEx Contractor Delivery Driver - using OWN vehicle

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable part time Delivery Drivers using their own vehicle to join our team in our North Phoenix FedEx terminal location: Phoenix, AZ - near the Deer Valley Airport As a FedEx Ground contractor Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of packages to our valued customers. Position: Part Time Delivery Driver - using your own vehicle Location: Phoenix, AZ Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently operate your vehicle to transport goods to designated locations within assigned routes Load and unload goods from the vehicle while ensuring proper handling and securing of items Verify and reconcile delivery orders with customers to ensure accuracy Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and lawful driving practices Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely delivery of goods Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise Requirements: Must be 21 years old or above MUST be on time each morning in by 8 - 8:30 am as packages have time commits Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Will have to pass a drug test Must have a vehicle of sufficient size to hold 50-100 small packages Vehicle must be less than 15 years old, in good working order and have valid, current registration and insurance. Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally Ability to navigate and use GPS or other route optimization devices Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications: Experience with route planning and optimization software Familiarity with the Phoenix, AZ area and surrounding regions Compensation and Benefits: $22 - $25 per hour Gas is reimbursed Weekly payroll Work Schedule: varies but ideally Monday to Friday or maybe one weekend day. 8:30 am to 1:00 - 3:00 pm approximately - varies a little from day to day based on that day's package volume.
