Available Shifts: Morning: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Work Location: IN PERSON ONLY – NO REMOTE OR HYBRID WORK About the Position Happy Pipes Plumbing is a family-owned plumbing company looking for two motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented individuals to join our growing office team! This position is MUCH more than answering phones! We're looking for proactive individuals who take ownership of their responsibilities, stay organized, follow through on tasks, and help keep our customers, technicians, and daily operations running smoothly. Our dispatchers are a vital part of our company's success. They are responsible for creating a great customer experience, keeping technicians productive, maintaining accurate information, and helping turn opportunities into scheduled jobs. Both positions have the same responsibilities and expectations, just different shifts. Key Responsibilities Customer Service: Answer incoming calls professionally, assist customers, gather important job information, and provide an outstanding customer experience. Scheduling & Dispatching: Schedule appointments efficiently, coordinate technician schedules, and adjust schedules as needed throughout the day. Technician Communication: Work closely with field technicians to communicate job details, updates, changes, and customer needs. Outbound Calls: Proactively contact customers regarding open estimates, unscheduled work, appointment confirmations, and customer satisfaction follow-ups. Data Entry: Accurately enter and update customer information, job details, service notes, scheduling information, and other daily records. Job Tracking: Monitor job progress, follow up on outstanding items, and help ensure jobs and paperwork are completed accurately. Customer Follow-Up: Build customer relationships through timely communication, follow-through, and exceptional service. Team Collaboration: Communicate with the other dispatcher and office team to ensure smooth transitions and that nothing falls through the cracks. Daily Accountability: Manage assigned tasks, maintain accurate records, and help the office meet daily goals and performance expectations. What We're Looking For Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong computer skills, data entry accuracy, and attention to detail. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. A self-motivated individual who takes initiative without constant supervision. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt when schedules change. Comfortable making outbound calls and following up with customers. Dependable, punctual, and accountable. A positive attitude and willingness to support the entire team. Previous dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or office experience preferred.
