On-Call Dealer Trade Driver

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused professional to support vehicle transport operations on an on-call basis. In this role, you will help move vehicles between dealership locations, auction sites, service facilities, and other designated destinations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, timeliness, and professionalism. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, can adapt to changing schedules, and takes pride in representing the organization well. Responsibilities Transport vehicles between designated locations in a safe and timely manner. Follow dispatch instructions, route plans, and delivery schedules as assigned. Perform vehicle inspections before and after transport to note any existing damage or concerns. Complete and maintain required paperwork, trip logs, and delivery documentation. Communicate clearly with dispatch, dealership personnel, and other team members. Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service at all times. Observe all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures while operating vehicles. Report delays, mechanical issues, or other concerns promptly. Handle vehicle keys, documents, and related materials with care and accountability. Support additional transportation-related tasks as needed. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record. Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles, if required by the assignment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe driving practices. Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision. Effective communication and basic documentation skills. Reliable, punctual, and flexible for on-call scheduling needs. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and travel between locations as needed. Professional demeanor and customer service mindset. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in vehicle transport, dealership operations, delivery driving, or a related field.
