Responsibilities
• Receive incoming carrier deliveries of new vehicles and perform thorough inspections for transit damage or discrepancies.
• Verify vehicle identification numbers (VINs), mileage, options, and ensure all details match the provided documentation.
• Accurately enter vehicle information into the inventory management system or dealership management software in a timely manner.
• Park and arrange vehicles on the sales lot for optimal display and customer accessibility, maintaining an organized and appealing lot appearance.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and dealership requirements during vehicle check-in, inspection, and lot organization.
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle check-in processes and update inventory data consistently to reflect current stock levels.
Skills
• Strong attention to detail with excellent inspection skills for vehicle condition and documentation accuracy.
• Proficiency in using inventory management or dealership management software (DMS) systems.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to efficiently arrange vehicles on the lot for maximum visual appeal.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with delivery carriers and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to safety protocols and dealership standards.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle identification numbers (VINs), mileage tracking, and vehicle options is preferred but not required.
