Mgr. FP&A - Supply Chain Finance
Smurfit WestrockThe Opportunity Smurfit Westrock is seeking a highly talented Finance Manager to help lead the Supply Chain Finance team working in a complex global function located in our Corporate Headquarters in Atlanta, GA. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Business Finance & Analytics and will be a key business partner to the Enterprise Logistics team. The Supply Chain Finance Manager will work closely with Freight and Logistics Leadership, Supply Chain Leadership and Mills Financial Team in the preparation and review of forecasts, budgets, ad hoc analysis, and periodic reports. In addition, the Manager will participate on project teams, periodically acting as the ‘finance lead’ on these teams. In performing these roles, the Manager will be expected to interact with numerous functional departments (both at Corporate, Mill and Box locations) and with numerous management levels within the company. How you will impact Smurfit Westrock Lead all freight forecast/planning development and variance analytics for both Mills and Packaging businesses Liaison with Packaging counterparts on forecast/planning assumptions and variance analytics Responsible for the delivery and accuracy of daily/weekly/monthly financial analyses with related commentary. Prepare financial materials as required & lead any financial presentations. Track all relevant KPIs and provide insights on drivers of performance to Supply Chain and Mill business partners Validation & tracking of CTO freight project savings Participate in any freight/logistics-related diagnostics or project-based work Mentor to Financial Analysts and Interns/early career development associates What you need to succeed Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, Business, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management is required 5+ years related experience in general or corporate finance, strategic finance, supply chain/logistics data analytics, and complex system configuration integration (ERP implementation and support) Must possess the potential and desire to advance to leadership roles Ability to adapt to a high-paced work environment, balancing routine responsibilities with ad hoc requests and stringent deadlines Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft (Excel & Access); Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) experience preferred; JD Edwards and Hyperion a plus Minimal to no travel required Occasional weekend work required (financial reporting, system cutovers, testing, etc.) What we offer : Corporate culture based on integrity, respect, accountability and excellence Comprehensive training with numerous learning and development opportunities An attractive salary reflecting skills, competencies and potential A career with a global packaging company where Sustainability, Safety and Inclusion are business drivers and foundational elements of daily work
