Culture focused on people first, innovation and advancing industries JOB SUMMARY: The Materials & Manufacturing Services Manager will lead a People First culture in a manufacturing environment while providing leadership and oversight of Materials, Production Scheduling, and Product Data Management (PDM). This role is responsible for ensuring efficient material flow, accurate manufacturing data, effective production scheduling, and timely delivery of materials and services to support operational goals. The Materials Manager will drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, data accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration to support production readiness, optimal throughput, and overall manufacturing performance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee daily operations and workflows across Materials, Production Scheduling, and PDM. Lead, coach, and develop hourly and salaried team members. Manage material flow between plants, production areas, and off-site storage locations. Oversee production scheduling to ensure alignment with customer demand, material availability, and manufacturing capacity. Partner with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, and Engineering to support production schedules, throughput, and productivity. Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of manufacturing data, including routings, work centers, operation codes, and ERP/MRP system information. Support engineering changes, new product introductions, manufacturing transfers, and production releases. Monitor production schedules, material shortages, and manufacturing data discrepancies to identify and resolve operational constraints. Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counts, special inventory counts, and obsolete inventory disposition. Evaluate and improve processes for material storage, handling, distribution, and inventory control. Oversee departmental budgets, equipment leases, repairs, and material handling equipment purchases.
