Manager/Assistant Manager- Convenience Store

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Manager/Assistant Manager for our convenience store to lead daily operations with enthusiasm and precision. Duties Lead and supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to ensure high performance and excellent customer service standards Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and assist in purchasing to optimize product availability and sales Oversee sales management activities such as pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and sales targets Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster positive shopping experiences Monitor employee performance through coaching sessions, manage shift schedules, and facilitate team communication Experience Proven experience in retail management or assistant management roles within the convenience store or retail industry Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management skills in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping practices Excellent negotiation skills for purchasing negotiations and vendor relations Experience in recruiting, training & development, payroll processing, and employee orientation is highly desirable Proficiency in retail math including sales calculations, budgeting, pricing strategies, and basic financial analysis Join us to lead a vibrant retail environment where your leadership fuels success!
