This position will be responsible for planning, scheduling, inventory management and overseeing the activities and the department employees within the Warehouse operations as well as offsite warehouses/distributions centers. Strong coordination with Production will be essential in providing the necessary end-of-the month closing support to the business. This position will also coordinate and work in conjunction with the Customer Service Department. Responsible for all safety, health and environmental matters relating to the operation of the warehouse, shipping & receiving of assigned personnel to include completion of periodic audits of the warehouse area, monthly safety training meetings. The position reports directly to the Plant Manager. Assign and direct department personnel in accordance with SOPs and work instructions to fulfill shipping and inventory control requirements. Design/implements effective cross-training programs in an effort to ensure the coverage for shipping and cycle count activities. Develops and participates in continuous/cost improvement projects with a complete knowledge of cycle count procedures and how it can affect inventory and all warehouse functions. Coordinate all physical inventory counts, conduct and or assign daily cycle counts and investigate discrepancies to improve inventory accuracy. Inventory storage quality as it applies to wet wraps, identification, torn or missing baggies, broken pallets Ability to manage projects, work independently and communicate effectively to all areas and levels of the Warehouse team. Professionally and effectively problem solve, and remain calm in high-stress situations. The ability to shift back and forth between the various functions and multitask throughout the workday. BENEFITS IN JOINING US Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $92,000 to $142,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $103,040 to $159,040 Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
