Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a LOCAL CDL A DRIVER based in Hazelwood, MO! This exciting role offers the opportunity to operate refrigerated trailers and transport freight across local routes, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. -requires at least 9 months of commercial driving experience -Monday-Friday -shifts start at 6pm -shifts can last 12 hours daily -$30.99 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours Duties deliverPalletized Hospital supplies. Take to deliveries at the hospitals and unload into designated areas, reload any empties at the deliveries, and come back to Warehouse for next route make 10-12 stops per route driving radius of up to 400 miles WEEKLY Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially with refrigerated trailers and route driving. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazard materials handling, and hazardous goods transportation. Experience with delivery driving, truck loading/unloading, and manual transmission operation. Ability to navigate using GPS systems accurately on over-the-road (OTR) routes within local areas. Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures and safety protocols. Excellent manual handling skills with attention to detail for load securement and vehicle inspections.
