Inventory Specialist

Description: Position: DF Inventory Specialist Job Type: Full-Time Location: 700 E 107th St Chicago, IL 60628 Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5am-1:30pm, with occasional Saturday shifts as needed. Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Specialist to work in a temperature-controlled refrigerator and freezer warehouse. In this role, you will work closely with the Inventory Manager to ensure inventory accuracy, proper product rotation, and efficient warehouse organization. Key Responsibilities Track and maintain accurate inventory records. Perform routine cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy. Monitor product expiration dates to help prevent product loss. Maintain proper inventory organization and storage within the refrigerator and freezer areas. Assist the Inventory Manager with inventory discrepancies and other inventory-related tasks. Requirements: Must have one (1) year stand-up forklift and EPJ experience. At least one (1) year of warehouse experience. Ability to work in a cold, temperature-controlled environment, including refrigerator and freezer areas. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow inventory procedures and safety guidelines. Candidates must also be available to work occasionally on Saturdays.
