Inventory Control - Central Islip, NY - Contract - $17-27 Per HR The Inventory Control position is an onsite contract role in a regional warehouse environment. Responsibilities include managing inventory accuracy through cycle counting and verification processes. The role involves working in various temperature zones and requires proficiency in generic inventory management technologies. Key Responsibilities Perform daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Verify inventory quantities against system and physical records. Investigate and research root causes of count discrepancies. Communicate inventory variances and discrepancies to supervisors. Collaborate with team members to support operational efficiency. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years of cycle counting or inventory control experience. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Flexibility to work in different warehouse areas and varying temperature conditions. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without assistance.
