The position is based onsite, offering a contract employment type. Responsibilities include planning logistics strategies, optimizing transportation, and utilizing generic technology platforms. Description Coordinate product movement from supplier locations to facilities. Plan and execute inbound transportation strategies to reduce costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain service levels. Resolve freight issues and optimize ordering patterns. Negotiate market rates and manage carrier payments. Analyze trends to improve service levels and reduce costs. Support supply chain best practices and standardization initiatives. Key Responsibilities Utilize transportation systems to optimize freight management. Monitor and resolve freight issues promptly. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement. Investigate and process claims for overage, shortage, and damage. Support operational teams with inbound planning and dock utilization. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum of 3 years in logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience. Knowledge of transportation regulations and network systems. Proficiency in office software including spreadsheets and presentations. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
