Hyve Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven individual with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment. II. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) Participate in multiple engineering & continuous improvement projects and programs. Ensure timely delivery of program results based on goals. Perform the collection of process design, time and motion studies, and engineering data to drive continual improvement initiatives. Assessment and set-up of industrial and manufacturing infrastructure/equipment. Works on process flow updates, layout changes, work instructions, procedures, and similar document control activities. Performs risk assessments to determine what kind of improvements could be made to keep the facility running smoothly and efficiently. Reviews safety and quality standards to ensure the manufacturing environment is properly meeting guidelines. Experience working on complex problems where analysis or data requires evaluation and identifiable factors on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. Guide the completion of projects and conduct technical tasks and/or set specific technical strategy and direction for self and/or others. JOB SPECIFICATIONS III. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or industrial Technology preferred. One or more years of experience working in a similar work environment. IV. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Experience with AutoCAD or Solidworks. Analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of manufacturing systems Effective in time management and delegation. Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents Knowledge of manufacturing systems Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability. Excellent communication skills—written and verbal. V. JOB COMPLEXITY AND SUPERVISION Works on problems of moderate scope. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships. WORKING CONDITIONS Fast paced work environment Certain areas are considered loud work environments and will require ear protection. VII. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Extensive use of computer equipment, and frequent telephone activity. Periods of extended sitting, walking, and standing are required.
