Grocery Stocker (Part time)

Job Summary Seaside Grocery Outlet is looking for a dynamic Part-Time Grocery Stocker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining well-stocked shelves, organizing inventory, and ensuring the store remains clean and safe for our customers. This position offers the opportunity to develop skills in retail operations and inventory management. The schedule is three days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Responsibilities Stock shelves efficiently by loading and unloading products using equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular stock counts, and updating records with scanners Organize grocery items to ensure attractive merchandising and easy customer access Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments and properly storing incoming inventory Maintain cleanliness of the store environment through routine cleaning, organizing storage areas, and ensuring safety standards are met Support retail sales efforts by providing friendly customer service, answering questions about products. Use communication skills to coordinate with team members on stocking priorities and store maintenance tasks Requirements Previous warehouse or retail experience is preferred; familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, packaging, and inventory control Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and assist customers confidently Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 60bs, for extended periods; maintain high energy levels throughout shifts Knowledge of grocery store operations including merchandising, shipping & receiving, and maintenance tasks Ability to assist with bales and general cleanliness of warehouse.
