Fulfillment Specialist Full-Time | Operations Reports to: Team Leader Second Shift: M-F 3pm - 11pm Join the Avalon Team Looking for a full-time opportunity where attention to detail matters and you can learn on the job? We’re hiring a Fulfillment Specialist to join our Operations team. You’ll play an important role in making sure medical record requests are processed accurately, securely, and on time. No previous Release of Information experience is required. We’ll provide the training you need to be successful. What You’ll Be Doing As a Fulfillment Specialist, you’ll be responsible for processing medical Release of Information (ROI) requests and helping ensure documents are handled accurately, efficiently, and securely. You will: Prepare, print, and package medical records and other documents for mailing Verify that medical records are matched with the correct supporting documentation Learn and use the software, printers, scanners, copiers, and other equipment needed to complete your work Monitor printing and mailing transactions from start to finish to help ensure accuracy and successful completion Help keep printers, copiers, and other equipment operating efficiently Follow established procedures for handling Protected Health Information (PHI) and maintaining HIPAA compliance Meet established productivity and quality expectations Work with our distribution center and third-party customer service representatives to resolve questions and ensure requests are completed successfully Participate in initial and ongoing training You’ll Be a Great Fit If You: Have strong attention to detail and take pride in getting things right Are dependable, organized, and able to manage your time effectively Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment Can work independently with limited supervision after completing training Are comfortable using computers and common office equipment Have basic Microsoft Office, computer, and math skills Can follow detailed procedures consistently Understand the importance of protecting confidential and sensitive information Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required No previous experience required Experience with medical records, Release of Information (ROI), or healthcare systems is helpful, but not required HIPAA knowledge or certification is a plus, but not required Physical Requirements This position involve…
