Flower Shop Part Time Delivery Driver and Warehouse Assistant Position

Requirements MUST HAVE YOUR OWN WORKING CAR, CLEAN DRIVING RECORD AND A SMART PHONE WITH MAPS TO TAKE DELIVERIES IN CASE COMPANY VEHICLES ARE NOT AVAILABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS. Miss Daisy is looking for an energetic, self motivated, timely, caring and responsible delivery driver to deliver flower arrangements promptly to our customers. Each delivery is important and is a reflection of our brand. You will represent our company in a professional manner while you are delivering to residences and to businesses.This position is for someone who is focused, driven, enjoys problem solving, a safe and responsible driver, and someone who likes flowers and loves to provide great customer service. In betweeen deliveires, this role is responsible for keeping the wrehouse organized and clean. Taking out the trash, unpacking boxes, cleaning out the cooler, and processing flowers are all in a day's work! We work hard and are always ready for the a busy day! Duties: Floral delivery drivers load customer orders into the delivery van carefully. They inspect floral arrangements for damages, and report any issues to the florist. Floral delivery drivers then bring arrangements to customers’ homes. In some cases, delivery drivers may be required to obtain signatures for proof of receipt. Some floral delivery drivers may also assist in floral shops or warehouses. They help unpack floral freight deliveries and organize flowers in the storeroom. Some may also write up customer orders. Floral delivery drivers are often responsible for the maintenance of the company vehicle as well. Responsibilities Deliver flowers safely and cautiously. Must be avalible to work Friday-Sunday. Follow routes and time schedule. Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints Inform customers about new products and services Complete logs and reports Follow DOT regulations and safety standards Manage warehouse (daily cleaning, organizing, flower processing responsibilities) Maintains the company vehicle, keeping it clean and tidy. Available for weekend deliveries Skills Valid professional driver’s license Excellent organizational and time management skills Good driving record with no traffic violations Must have a working smart phone with maps app Delivery drivers must also be in good physical shape, because they have to load and carry heavy floral arrangements. Floral delivery drivers must have good communication and customer service skills as well. Delivery drivers must have a strong attention to detail, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Organizational skills are important for the position as well. In addition, floral delivery drivers must be able to work well without supervision.
