As a Fleet Semi‑Trailer Maintenance Specialist, you’ll combine preventive care with expert repair, working shoulder-to-shoulder with a supportive team. What you’ll take on Thoroughly inspect trailers and diagnose brake, suspension, and electrical concerns. Execute preventive services: oil changes, tire rotations, and brake adjustments. Restore reliability by repairing or replacing worn or damaged components to safety standards. Document all work performed with precise, trailer-specific records. Team up with peers to tackle complex mechanical challenges. Continuously improve by adopting new techniques and industry best practices. Operate with a safety-first mindset and keep your work area orderly and clean. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; automotive/diesel certification preferred. Demonstrated mechanic experience, ideally on semi-trailers or heavy-duty vehicles. Proficiency with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Comfort reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics. Analytical problem-solver with strong attention to detail. Effective working solo and collaboratively.
