Job Objective & Safety/Security Sensitive Designation JOB OBJECTIVE: To specialize in the onboarding of City-acquired assets, including new, used, and impounded equipment, for both Fleet and Vehicle Storage Facility (VSF) operations; creates and maintains asset record information for all City of Little Rock vehicles and equipment in the fleet asset management system; obtains appropriate insurance coverage and registration and vehicle tags for all vehicles in compliance with Departmental policies and procedures. This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening. Essential Functions Minimum Qualifications, Additional Requirements and Supervisory Responsibilities These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through the completion of two (2) years of college coursework or vocational training in Business Administration or a related area; four (4) years of demonstrated experience of asset management, or inventory control to include determining the value of various types of vehicles or equipment assets or related area, and two (2) years of experience utilizing a computerized records maintenance system, or related area. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
