JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Firearm Shipping and Receiving Team Lead Department: Supply Chain Reports To: Warehouse Manager Position Summary: Firearm Shipping and Receiving Team Lead is a working position that plans, coordinates, and manages all serialized items in the warehouse. The primary focus is to ensure current inventory is correct, maintain domestic, import / export, and shipped records to ensure compliance with ATF/FFL regulations and on-time customer delivery. This position will also coordinate internal department needs for shipping, credits/returns, repairs, and destruction of serialized items. Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining storage and replenishing picking bins for serialized and related items. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; Other duties may be assigned. Responsibilities: Coordinate and direct resources daily to ensure accurate and timely picking and shipping of products, inventory accuracy, and on-time shipping to customers. Ensure compliance with all company safety programs and operational policies as well as Federal, State, and Local regulations. Ensure all team members are properly trained, cross-trained, and compliant with processes and procedures. Communicate with compliance department and receive or provide updates for involved processes. Coordinates weekly serial number physical counts by sku on a rotating basis. Conducts inventory cycle counts, and initiates root cause analysis of discrepancies. Identifying and implementing continuous improvements to improve inventory accuracy. Duties/Responsibilities: · All 19 displayed Consult with supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments. Oversees all serialized acquisitions and dispositions internally and externally. Analyze, review and ensure compliance with work instructions. Reviews KPI’s and implements continuous improvement suggestions for effective and efficient alignment with company goals. Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences. · Regularly inspect equipment and tools for safe and accurate operation. · Audits and checks orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with work instructions. · Ensures inventory is supplied for freight shipments, and small parcel shipments and shipped in a timely manner. · Maintains supplies of consumables and essential items (tape, gloves, shipping boxes, labels, etc.). · Complete and update all end of day records. · Cross-trains with other functional areas within the warehouse to provide back-up as necessary. · When time permits or business requirements, coordinator will also assist warehouse with shipping needs. Skills/Experience Requirements: H. S. diploma/GED required. Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in a similar warehouse and shipping environment. Prior experience with receiving and shipping serialized firearms/ATF compliance preferred. Must pass criminal background check.
