Experienced Truck and Fleet Maintenance Technician

Experienced Truck & Fleet Maintenance Technician Triangle Grading and Paving, Inc. is looking for an Experienced Truck & Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team and keep our construction fleet safe, reliable, and ready to work. We are a busy construction company with a fleet of trucks, heavy equipment, and support vehicles. We’re looking for a dependable, experienced technician who takes pride in quality work and understands the importance of keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on company trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and related equipment issues. Perform brake, suspension, steering, cooling, and drivetrain repairs. Service and maintain diesel engines and related systems. Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify potential problems before they become costly repairs. Maintain accurate service and repair records. Perform routine oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and other scheduled maintenance. Assist with emergency and breakdown repairs as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow company safety procedures and applicable regulations. Coordinate with field and management personnel to minimize equipment downtime. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in truck, diesel, and fleet maintenance required. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, trucks, and fleet maintenance. Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems. Experience with construction equipment or heavy-duty vehicles is a plus. Ability to use diagnostic tools and standard mechanic equipment. Valid driver's license required. CDL is a plus. Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs in a fast-paced construction environment.
