This position plays an important role in supporting our Service Department by ensuring technicians have timely access to the parts needed to complete repairs and maintenance. The Evening Parts Clerk also serves as a point of contact for customers during evening hours, responding to telephone inquiries, assisting with parts requests, and providing knowledgeable and professional customer service. We are looking for an organized, customer-focused individual who can balance the demands of a busy service environment with customer inquiries while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail. Key responsibilities include: Provide parts support to Service Department technicians by identifying, locating, and supplying parts required for repairs and maintenance. Answer incoming telephone calls during evening hours, respond to customer inquiries, and direct calls as appropriate. Assist customers with parts inquiries, availability, pricing, and orders, both over the phone and in person. Use computerized parts catalogues and inventory management systems to accurately identify and locate parts. Process parts requests, orders, invoices, and transactions accurately and efficiently. Coordinate parts availability and communicate order updates to technicians, customers, and other departments. Receive, inspect, organize, and stock incoming parts and inventory. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts and stock control. Prioritize technician parts requests and customer inquiries to support efficient shop operations and timely customer service. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Work collaboratively with the Parts and Service Departments to meet operational demands and customer expectations.
