DZ Front End Loader/ Swing Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled DZ Front End Loader/ Swing Driver to join our team with 2 plus years of Front End Experience.
TIPS(Truck It Personnel Services) is seeking an experienced Front End Driver to join a growing solid team out of our Etobicoke Location. The driver will be primarily responsible will operating front end, rear packer and straight trucks.

• Satisfy customer needs for service. Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established policies.
• Responsible for daily pre and post trip inspections.
• Complete an assigned daily route as assigned by the Operations Manager.
• Daily route consists of driving to customer sites, secure bin on truck, empty bin at transfer station, return bin to customer site.
• Perform driver check-ins at day’s end to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion.
• Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner.
• Ensure that all protocols are followed while dumping loads at municipal recycling/waste facilities.
• May perform some additional responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager.
• Cover off equipment and routes as required
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
• Must be able to drive Manual Transmission
• Valid DZ license and Driver’s Abstract in good standing
• 2 years’ experience of driving Front-End Truck
• 2 Years' straight truck experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance
• Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities
• Must be familiar with GTA area
• High level of personal integrity and work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Confident, consistent, decisive personality
• Manual dexterity, ability to lift 50 lbs. required.
Shift: Monday-Friday 5 am 0:01 midnight start and occasional Saturday.
Pay Rate: $33.80
Pay: From $33.80 per hour
