Distribution Lead
Designs for HealthDescription Distribution Lead Position Overview The Distribution Lead is responsible for supporting the timely, accurate, secure, and damage-free fulfillment, packaging, and shipping of finished goods for distribution. This role works closely with the Distribution Supervisor to coordinate daily fulfillment activities, support Distribution Technicians, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure internal and external customer needs are met effectively. Essential Job Duties Train and support Distribution Technicians in the proper use of warehouse equipment, systems and applicable procedures. Comply with all cGMP requirements, SOPs, food safety standards, and workplace safety requirements. Ensure department productivity levels are maintained at or above standard. Directly fulfill, package and ship customer orders as needed. Monitor communications with Customer Experience team members to ensure prompt resolutions to external customer concerns. Report inventory issues, concerns and/or discrepancies hindering accurate and efficient processing of orders to direct supervisor. Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in researching and correcting inventory discrepancies within established authorization limits. Use inventory management systems such as RF-Smart, NetSuite ShipHawk to support daily warehouse operations. Other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of warehouse or distribution experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift certification preferred. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide day-to-day guidance to others. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Competencies Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Physical Demands The physical demands described here represent those an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This role requires regular movement throughout the warehouse, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and using the hands to handle materials and equipment. The employee must be able to communicate effectively and may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
